What a great semester for CC! I would like to say a huge thank you to Ella and the Executive Committee for all of their hard work and dedication, to my wonderful blog team: Paulina, Ceci, Francesca, Lily, Petra, and Zeynep for their wonderful articles and commitment, and the photo team for working with us seamlessly to produce the absolute best content! A lot went on this past semester, we had our first event which was amazing and published 20 articles! I am so proud of all of us and our work and look forward to a fabulous second semester.

A little bit of what I was up to: Ella, Paulina, and I went to München for Oktoberfest which was amazing! I was able to practice my German, munch on some lecker Deutschessen, and spend time with my lovely friends :).

Next, Paulina, Sophia, and I took on Berlin where Sophia and I practiced some German again and we all got into the cool party scene the city has to offer. Soph and I also visited her cousins and aunt and met their baby!

… and later in the semester, the four of us went to the Scotland v Australia match!

This semester I attended the Union, of course (Wednesdays after Clay social and Fridays…fourth year Platinum Pass on lock), PIMMs, Starfields, CC Launch, Welly Ball (as a competitor: Mixed 3s let’s goooo), Clay Christmas Dinner, Dundee??, Family Events, and Pub Nights galore:

As soon as I landed back in Jersey I also dyed my hair dark brown again and spent my first New Year’s Eve as a 21 year old in New York City with Ella and Lila! I also skied in Lake Placid, celebrated Christmas with my family, and celebrated my parents’ birthdays!

This semester, I am especially looking forward to making it the best yet, starting with Ski Trip in Val Thorens and Refreshers Week! I can’t wait to see what CC accomplishes!
